The concrete from Essentials For Living District Collection is a fiber-reinforced material comprised of granite stone powder, cement, natural jute fibers and water. Like any natural material, such as wood or stone, concrete is a porous material. The surface is coated with a wax sealer that will provide protection against staining. Expect the wear of the product to contribute to its uniqueness. To ensure the lasting beauty of the concrete surface, it is recommended to use a placemat or coaster to protect it from hot objects. To prevent scratches, do not place or drag sharp or coarse objects across the surface. Use felt pads on the bottom of objects that will remain on the surface of the product for long periods, especially natural stone materials or items containing moisture. Avoid putting painter’s tape or other adhesives directly on the surface.
